The article examines the speeches of outstanding Don publicist Viktor Sevsky in satirical magazines “Beach”, “Drum”, “New Satyricon” 1917. study reveals problem-thematic and genre characteristics V. Sevsky’s journalism context development Russian revolutionary period. dynamics is analyzed how nature journalist’s publications changed throughout 1917: from an ironic assessment certain aspects work Provisional Government to sarcastic ridicule new government, bureaucracy speculation. author presents main antiheroes journalism, analyzes techniques creating images.
